Jayne Marsh formed Performability in 2007 in order to address the increasing difficulty that organisations were facing in retaining their good people.
Anecdotal evidence suggested that management tenures were shortening, that the candidate market was becoming overheated and that managers were changing employers faster than was healthy for them or for their employers. Our survey, the first of its kind, confirmed this.
High employee turnover and skills shortages are now well recognised as established features within many economies. However, there is little evidence that companies are adjusting to the new reality in a fundamental way, as evidenced by the growth in recruitment expenses, decreased tenure rates and employee engagement scores. With research indicating that the cost of employing and inducting a new employee can be between 2 to 3 times the employees total annual employment cost it makes sense to divert some recource to retaining and developing talent rather than constantly chasing it.
Performability provides a unique service which identifies and retains top talent within organisations. Our techniques also provide a sound platform for the Onboarding and engagement of new employees, whilst increasing the effectiveness and wellbeing of established top talent.
At Performability our goal is to ensure top talent is identified, developed and nurtured within organisations to ensure sustainable competitive advantage.
